Narrower infrared beam gets you "through the brush readings" better than ever before. A narrower beam coupled with a superior detector also means acquiring smaller targets at greater distances.

If you're shooting or acquiring a target range up hill or down hill, the 400XTA is the tool for you. In addition to the improved "Line-of-Sight" ranging of the 400XLA, the 400XTA also gives you corrected, "Horizontal Distance", thus, eliminating the need to "guess" the actual distance to the target. Need height and angle? Then select the 400LHA. 3 point height measurements and single reading angle in degrees or percent grade are displayed clearly.
