The premium optics of our Ultravid binoculars demonstrate just what is technically possible today. The universally popular 32 series combine being ultra-light with being extremely strong and robust and at the same time deliver images with excellent contrast in an easy to use ergonomic design. The new Ultravid HD class brings with it a multiplicity of improvements. The new, fluoride containing, lenses (FL) further optimise the colour fidelity of the images and the Leica AquaDuraTM coating ensures a consistantly clear view, due to its water and dirt repelling properties.
The high performance Leica 8x32 Ultravid HD Binocular shows what is possible today in an impressive way. Featuring 32 mm objective lens diameter, 8x magnification and a large field of view of 135 m allows this Ultravid Binocular for a great overview and steadiness of image. The housing and center shaft of Leica 8x32 Ultravid HD Binocular is made of ultra-light weight, yet extremely durable magnesium available in soft touch rubber armoring. The use of these ultra light materials, coupled with perfectly aligned components guarantees long term durability at minimal weight. The strength of these Ultravid Binoculars by Leica is due, in large part to their image quality.
Leica 8x32 Ultravid HD Binocular offers excellent image quality even in awkward light conditions. A newly developed AquaDura coating by Leica is also applied on the lenses of Ultravid HD binoculars. Thanks to its increased abrasion resistance, Leica AquaDuraTM protects the valuable lens of Leica 8x32 Ultravid HD Binocular from damage even more effectively and allows moisture droplets and dirt to simply roll off ensuring clear visibility.
All Leica Ultravid Binoculars are nitrogen filled and waterproof to a depth of 16.5 feet. They also have an extreme operating temperature range from -13 to +131 F. and are fog proof.
