ATN - PS22-2 Day/Night System - 2nd Gen

The ATN PS22-2 is an attachment for a Daytime Riflescopes with 1x Magnification that convers Scope into a high-quality very accurate Night Vision Weapon Sight. The ATN PS22-2 System mounts in front of a Daytime Scope. Re-zeroing of the scope is not required. The ATN PS22-2 comes standard with 7/8" weaver mount. There is also an Adapter for ARMS quick release mount. Optional Ring Adapters allow to mount the unit onto the objective of the Daytime Scope (25...62mm diameter). The IR Illuminator can be mounted onto the optional Picatinny Rail. This ingenious setup allows the shooter to go from day to night in less than 30 seconds without tools, without changes in eye relief and remain zeroed all around the clock. The ATN PS22-2 is a complex optical-electronic system. The device contains an Image Intensifier Tube assembly with an integrated high-voltage power source and the three volt battery housing.

2nd Gen. IIT ATNs standard 2nd generation tubes are high quality with exceptional brightness and resolution. Each tube has a micro channel plate, multi-alkaline photocathode with built-in power supply.

CGT IIT. The CGT type of Image Intensifier tubes are engineered for significantly enhanced performance over current 2nd generation IITs. The CGT IIT is a Multi-Alkali compact 18mm format MCP Image Intensifier. Highlights of the CGT specifications are typical SNR of 16-22 and resolution of 45-54 lp/mm. CGT IITs are sensitive in a wide spectral band and thus provide good contrast in all scene circumstances.

HPT IIT HPT tubes are an upgrade of the CGT Generation tube. They are a Multi-Alkali compact 18mm format MCP Image Intensifier. The HPT tube increases sensitivity, resolution, Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), and the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF). These improvements produce an exceptional image clarity and brightness. Most HPT specifications typically are equivalent to standard 3rd generation. Highlights of the HPT specifications are the typical SNR of 22 and resolution of 64 lp/mm.
