The Distant Target Priority mode determines range to the farthest target the laser beam reaches, ideal for accurate ranging in those hunting situations where game animals may be partially obscured by grass or brush. Weighing in at 9.8-ounces, (without the included CR2 Lithium battery) the 5.7” x 3.2” Laser1200 has a selectable backlighting feature in the LCD display and quality Nikon 7-power multicoated optics for improved light transmission, clarity and color rendition. The display also shows the user how much battery power is remaining. Utilizing a 25 millimeter objective lens, the rangefinder provides an exit pupil of 3.6mm for maximum brightness under less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

The eyepiece of the Monarch Gold Laser1200 is adjustable, with a range of +/- 4 diopters, and offers an incredible 18.6mm of eye relief--and it folds down for use with eyeglasses. In addition, the Nikon Monarch Laser1200 has a real angle of view of 5.0 degrees, translating to a 35 degree apparent angle of view and a field of view of 262 feet at 1,000 yards.
