Leupold - RX-4 - Laser Range Finder - Camo Finish - 61475
For the first time in optics history, rifle and bow hunters can improve long-range shooting accuracy by determining the actual ballistic range to their target with a digital laser rangefinder - Leupold's new RX Series rangefinder.
The series includes RX-I, RX-II, RX-III and RX-IV models, all of which offer multiple, customizable functions not found in other rangefinders, past or present. For example, RX can be tailored according to different weather conditions, terrain or game.
"Designed specifically for hunters, our new RX Series is a significant advancement in digital laser rangefinder function and performance," said Mike Slack, Leupold's marketing communications manager. "The days when rangefinders served only as a glorified tape measure are gone. RX is a ?smart' rangefinder that can be customized based on specific hunting situations and needs, to provide more accuracy potential than ever before. This will result in more ethical shots and cleaner kills, whether you're a bow hunter or a rifle hunter shooting at big game at 300 yards or prairie dogs at 800 yards." Each of the four RX models offers Leupold's exclusive Match 13 Reticle System.
The Match 13 Reticle System gives hunters the capability of selecting a reticle according to the type of terrain and game. Reticle choices include Duplex, Bracket Circle Duplex, Bracket Square Duplex, Bracket Circle, Bracket Square, German #4 and the new Plus Point. Ideal for varmints and small targets, Plus Point is available with each of the other reticles for added accuracy in pinpointing a target.
Additional customizable features of RX include Leupold's advanced Quick Set Rotary Menu™, specially designed to make the rangefinder easy to use in all field conditions and to provide fast access to a number of different performance modes. Multiple environmental modes can be selected and used in combination with other modes to help deal with various field conditions and hunting situations.
The Quick Set Rotary Menu in the RX-II, RX-III and RX-IV models includes Long Range Mode; Rain Mode; 1st Target Mode; Last Target Mode; distance output in meters, feet or yards; line of sight output; temperature readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit; digital compass mode (RX-IV only); declination angle output which corrects the usual compass error between magnetic north and true north (RX-IV only); True Ballistic Range output; bow ballistic group; ballistic group characters; and Match 13 Reticle System. The RX-IV's precision magnetic inductor compass is designed to maintain high accuracy on inclines as well as flat ground.
Each model features multicoated optics for a crisp, bright sight picture; clicking fast-focus eyepiece for quick adjustments; rubber body armor; and rugged, weatherproof (RX-I and RX-II) / waterproof (RX-III and RX-IV) construction. RX controls are designed for one-hand operation so hunters can easily use the rangefinder in the field. A fold-down rubber eyecup accommodates users with or without eyeglasses. |
