The 4th Generation 1911 Lasergrip, called the LG-404, has passed extensive durability testing. To prove their ruggedness, samples grips went through a 3000 round durability cycle. During the shooting, the Lasergrips were further abused, by subjecting them to extreme heat and cold cycles. The result was no visible wear and no shift in point-of-aim.
